On Friday afternoon at the 800 block of Bloomington Road around 1:30 p.m. there was a three-vehicle collision in northwest Champaign involving a pickup truck and two passenger cars. A man and a woman in one of the passenger cars sustained serious injuries are were taken to Carle Hospital for treatment.
Sgt. Tom Frost of the Champaign police force stated that they are still trying to uncover the exact details of the accident. Eye-witnesses are currently helping Champaign police piece together what happened, as the people involved in the accident were unable to comment on the details of the collision.
