A Ford Explorer rolled over along Interstate 290 in Addison on the morning of September 26, causing four people to be killed and four others to sustain injuries, according to the Illinois State Police.
Addison Deputy Fire Chief Joe Leone said that seven of the passengers were thrown from the SUV after it swerved off I-290 at around 6:15 a.m., while the remaining one was pinned underneath and extracted two hours later.
The three injured victims were rushed to different hospitals.
The cause of the crash is still undetermined.
