Early this morning around 2 a.m. a truck carrying six people rolled over near Ogden. A 21-year-old driver was operating the pickup truck in a field, driving in circles to amuse his passengers.
On one of the turns, he was unable to maintain control of his vehicle, and it rolled over. The truck returned to it’s starting position, and none of the individuals inside were severely injured. The driver left the field, and parked the car at the residence of a passenger. A few of the passengers chose to contact authorities about the accident.
The driver and one passenger were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Two other individuals were treated and released, and the remaining passengers did not require medical attention. The driver admits that he had been drinking before getting behind the wheel, but did not agree to a breath test. He has been cited for reckless driving, and driving under the influence.
