Four hurt, one dead in head-on collision on U.S. 45 near Thomasboro

A collision between a passenger vehicle and a garbage truck at 12:06 p.m. on Friday, November 16th, killed the driver of the smaller vehicle and sent four others to the hospital. Authorities report that the driver and all three passengers in the car were ejected from the vehicle in the collision. There has been no update on the status of the driver of the garbage truck, who was also hospitalized, at this time.
