Over the weekend, a small airplane crashed in Carlinville, Illinois. The rural town is located in Macoupin County. Shortly after the crash, the Macoupin County Sheriff’s Department, Carlinville, and the Girard Fire and Rescue and ambulances from Gillespie-Benld Are Ambulance Service all responded to the scene of the crash. No information about what caused the crash has been released but it was announced that the pilot and three passengers were all pronounced dead at the scene. The victims were announced to be a 35-year-old and a 39-year-old from Michigan, a 37-year-old from Missouri, and a 39-year-old from New York.
