The Touch Point Oscillating Ceramic Heaters that were were imported by the Michigan-based Meijer have been involved in a recall due to a fire hazard.
The heaters were sold in Meijer stores and other discount stores in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Michigan. They were sold from October 2009 to April 2011 and they were manufactured in China.
The products were recalled when it was found that the oscillating device may short and cause a fire. No injuries have been reported, but two incidents that ended in property damage were. Consumers can return the heaters to Meijer for a full refund.
