Chain-reaction truck accident kills three people

A truck accident on Interstate 57 in Illinois killed three people and injured 13 more.

The accident occurred after a truck driver was looking at a map while driving and struck a vehicle in front of him that was stopped in the road. The SUV was stopped because of a construction zone in the road.

After the impact of the truck, the SUV burst into flames killing all three people inside. Thirteen others were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
