Two women who have yet to be identified by police were struck while crossing the street in a crosswalk yesterday at approximately 3:40 pm. According to official reports, the women were walking east when a vehicle that was also traveling east and attempting to turn south at the same intersection struck both women.
Both pedestrians suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital to receive treatment. The driver of the vehicle that struck the two women has not yet been identified by police, and, as of Tuesday afternoon, no tickets were issued in connection to the incident.
