A multi-vehicle crash on Wednesday sent six people, including four children, to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The identities of those involved have not yet been released.
The crash occurred north of Champaign around 3:42 PM. One vehicle was traveling south on Market Street when another vehicle, traveling east on Ford Harris Road, failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection. The latter vehicle collided with the former on its driver’s side, and a third vehicle traveling north on Market Street had to drive off the road to avoid the collision.
The driver who failed to stop was issued a ticket for numerous violations, including driving with a suspended license.
